10 Pieces Getting Me Excited for Fall

It’s still feels more like summer than fall here in Southern California, but of course fall fashion is in full swing in stores and online. My favorite fall trends so far are leather everything (real or faux) and snakeskin, but I’m always a sucker for soft, slouchy knits. Here are ten pieces that I couldn’t resist, even if I don’t get to wear them for another month or so 🙂

I got this teal suede moto jacket from Nordstrom before it went on sale, and let me tell you, it is GORGEOUS. The color is so rich and I absolutely love the gold hardware. I also feel like it will be really versatile, since teal looks great with most other colors. On sale this is a total steal for the quality. (Blank NYC jacket – $139)

This hooded blazer is another fall piece I snagged early because I love the mix of casual and business styles and other similar pieces I’ve seen are at higher price points. It’s gone on sale at Macys a couple of times, so you may get lucky! (DKNY hooded blazer – $169)

This dolman sweater comes in a ton of awesome colors and has such a stylish shape with it’s funnel neckline. I especially love the bright pink, the green and the yellow color options. (Leith dolman sweater – $59)

I just ordered these faux leather paperbag-waist pants in the cognac color, since it’s such a fun change of pace from the more common black faux leather. It doesn’t get more flattering than high-rise pants with a cinched waist. (Lucy Paris pants – $98)

This grey sweater dress is so soft and has just the right amount of slouchiness. I can’t wait to wear it with booties. (Forever 21 dress – $19)

Here’s another adorable sweater dress if you’d prefer an off-the-shoulder style. (Abercrombie dress – $68)

The neutral toned zebra print on this sweater is such a nice change if you’re in to animal print, but have too much leopard already. It’s so soft and the fitted scoop-neck fit is great. (Abercrombie sweater – $58)

I’m in love with the lux cable-knit on this dolman sweater. I also love that it can be worn off-shoulder, although I’d recommend sizing up if that’s how you’d prefer to wear it. (Abercrombie sweater – $40)

These snakeskin booties are just perfect – neutral toned, not too much heel hight, and a slightly pointed toe. Snakeskin boots can often look cheap and these definitely do not. (Schutz booties – $225)

These knee-high boots are too hot to pass up and the color options are SO good. It’s so tough to choose between the mahogany, the taupe and the white. (Vince Camuto boots – $229)
